adhawkins Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Hi all, I'm after some ACB-10s (possibly part worn?) to replace my decidedly second hand ones. They're for sprinting only, so I want the soft compound. Sizes are 6.0/21-13 and 7.0/22-13 Anyone got anything? Thanks Andy
Black Shadow Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I've got 4, not sure wot size, I'll go to me shed and have a look for you. They are part worns from the gradute series.
adhawkins Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 What compound? Any idea? Assuming they're the right size and compound, I'll definitely be interested if the price is right... Andy
Black Shadow Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Hi Andy, Just been down to the shed, they are 185/50-13 76v or 6.0/21-13 the traction rating is B and temp rated A could not see any more info. As I said I have 4 if you nterested. Cheers Nigel
adhawkins Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 Ok, let me check with Avon what compound that is. How much tread is left on them? Asuming they're Ok, I'd be interested in two of them. How much you want for them? Andy
Black Shadow Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Andy, They have about 4mm of tread left, see link below. I'm after about £20.00 each for them. ACB 10
adhawkins Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 Ok, let me check the compound. Assuming it's the one I'm after, then I'll take two of them, that Ok? Andy
scott beeland Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 You might aswell buy all 4 at that price ThrobBoy
adhawkins Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 Hmmm...it's just finding the space. Let me check the compound out and I'll let you know. Andy
adhawkins Posted July 26, 2005 Author Posted July 26, 2005 Ah. Apparently there's a 4 or 5 digit 'specification number' on one side of each tyre. It's in a panel with some other letters apparently. Avon tell me that from this they'll be able to tell me exactly what compound the tyre is. Any chance you could take a look at this for me? Also, how have they been stored? Thanks Andy
Black Shadow Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Andy, Hope this is what your after.... DOT ATDM 1 E 021951 or 9064 Hope this helps. Cheers Nigel
