a4drk Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Hello First of all check his feedback.. Bank transfer is safe - he cannot pay thro a credit card this way. I think he must have the money actually in his account to do it. Western Union is dodgey as feck..... AVOID if even mentioned. I bought a full set of Bose Speakers / sub & Bose amp for my Audi A4 from a bloke in Austria. - He didnt accept Paypal, so i had to transfer money to him - My wife works for HBOS, so it got done FOC - should have been about £20. I was sheeting maself. Paid out £230..... 7 days later a big box of goodies arrived from Austria.... It was a bit of a risk, but he had good feedback + he was an Audi breaker / shop etc.. I know you need to give him your bank details, but this is still Ok - safe.. - he needs your 16 digit switch number to buy stuff - not your account number.... In a nut shell, nothing to worry about.... He will probably get outbid by someelse anyway!!! cheers David Quote
