The searching/monitoring is undoubtedly automatic.  At work we have been looking at content and search tools capable of detecting the sense of documents and providing a precis.  Very clever stuff.

I agree with your sentiment about watching out for big brother.  If you can imagine it happening, it probably is - and I am not even paranoid :devil:

But Cumbria police were sneakily monitoring the site, Pepipoo.com, and now Stephen Quas and his girlfriend have to wear electronic tags, as part of their heavy community service sentences "for perverting the course of justice". He got 240 hours’ community service, she got 200 hours.

You can't be forced to incrimate yourself (I believe). However, if you go into a Police Station and say 'I just killed my mate Bob', I'm sure that would be admitted into evidence...
