Hello All

I thought it was about time i said hello in the correct forum as my car is nearly complete. :t-up:  (Just waiting for the Carbs from Westfield).

I have bought the complete kit from Westfield to compete in the Westfield Championship. But by the time i get the car completely finished and set up, run in etc, the first race i will be able to compete in will be Rockingham or maybe Croft at a push. But first I just have a couple of questions.....

Apart from the standard kit supplied from Westfield are there any additional items that i need to purchase or upgrade???

I know i have to register 20 days in advance of the race but where do you find the prices for each individual round???

Where do i find info and dates on the testing days held at each track???

And lastly do most people stay over at the venue in a B&B or something??? What's the social side like???

Think that about does it,

Forgot to add a couple of Tyre questions -

How many Races would you expect to get out of a set??? (Avon ACB10's)

Where do you guys buy them from and how much per corner??

Thanks in advance

John

Hi John,

I'm going to send you a PM with my telephone number. This has been my first season in the Westfield Championship so I've had to ask a lot of the same questions as you and should be able to help you with most things.

Cheers

How did I miss this posting :D  :D  :D

BMTR for your tyres - you have to they're the nominated resellers for the series - see the regs on the BARC site - or email me and I'll send them to you. Supposedly you should get a season out of them but I haven't run them enough to back that up. £100 ish  / corner. They have a special serial number to make sure you buy them from BMTR. But same as any other ACB10's I believe if you want to get a second hand cateringvan set for testing.

Again for dates / race entry forms etc you need to register for the series (there is a from at the back of the regs) they then send you a batch of entry forms etc.. On the first race you enter you get all your sponsor stickers!

Running for home now.
