Baldeagle
Well DVLA eventually gave me a Q plate despite providing receipts proving all was new, the only two refurb (as new) parts were the engine and gearbox. I got 11 points on there part scoring system but they would not budge. They even sent a VOSA enforcement guy to "inspect " the car (why the SAV guy can't do this is beyond me). They said I fit a new MT75 bearbox or a new engine they would give me an 05 plate. Anyone know where I can get a new MT75 gearbox AND a receipt proving it is new? . Still at least I am now on the road!

I still think the Q plate is the best, it does not age the car, and you have it easier at MOT unless you have the emissions on the log book.
