Coxy Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Caught an episode last night where he was rushing to get to a test session at Rockingham and trying to adjust the chain tension. He was caressing a bolt on the diff with a lump hammer when he missed and smacked the fingers of his now probably ex-mate who was helping him. Didn't know whether to laugh or wince. Quote
adhawkins Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 I was on one! (Well the car was) Two actually (you were in the background of a continuation of the same interview the following week). Oh, and you were there too, not just the car (as was our erstwhile Chairman). Andy Quote

starter Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Watched a fair bit of this and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. The bit where he didn't have a clue about using fibreglass matting was perhaps the low point. He did manage to make the whole thing appear far more complicated than reality as well. Very hard to imagine that the car would be competitive with the ground clearance, wheels and general chassis strength. Personally I would have been terrified to get behind the wheel after seeing how easy it was to shear the suspension mounting point at the front, Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 I'm confused. I thought you were welsh... Leave it ....................... you're not very far from France Quote
