Barry Ashcroft Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Last night at 4am the cat decided he wanted to go out so he jumped out of the upstairs bedroom window on to shmbo car roof he landed right on the edge which is very hard the dents were made by his A*** bones and the two small dents in front either side where his back paws. I looked out of the window to find him on the roof of the clio licking his A*** he was probably suprised to see it still conected to himself I know I was.He was lucky not to have broken his back the silly sod. Now I am left with repairing the damage any body recommend a repairer around my neck of the woods. Barry Quote
Frau Vesty Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 *puts fingers in ears in preparation for lots of rude and violent comments about what should happen to cats* That's an impressive dent, if my cat jumped out of a first floor window, he'd definitely snap, whether there was a car there or not. Hope yours is none the worse for his death defying leap Quote
Major Stare Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Shoot it............ shoot the cat now ! One of my cats was asleep on my wifes panther black Focus bonnet. I opened the front door and made it jump, it panicked and sprinted off. The bonnet has a lovely selection of 2" long cat claw marks across it Quote
Barry Ashcroft Posted July 5, 2005 Author Posted July 5, 2005 Thankfully the cat is ok. I love me little mate and would wish no harm to him after all the car is only metal and can be repaired. Barry ps terrified about taking him to the vets kin ell they can charge the rabbit had a stroke last month on a sunday called the vet took it down there they gave it some jabs and said see how it goes two days later no change so the rabbit went off for the final injection they disposed of the body said at the time don't worry we can sort out the bill later. Two weeks later got a bill for £75 gutted new bl**** rabbitts are only £15 Quote
neilb Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Glad to hear that the mog is OK - try dent master I have seen them do some nice work and I used to work with car body shops. Quote
Eccentric_Rich Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 The Dent Master boys can work wonders on small parking dents in doors etc but that dent looks a bit severe for them (the metal appears to be well and truly stretched). It'll be worth getting them to look at it before taking the car to a bodyshop. Richard. Quote
Stuart Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Dent Devils did a good job on a worser one than that on the wife's Mazda. Not metallic though. Quote
dac3774 Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 for Dent Devils. There website shoes a crease bigger than your cats A***! Okay, I know publicity shot, but my neighbour had a large dent improved / removed from his E Class and I noticed a receipt in my car for Dent Devils when I picked it up from the dealer. Nothing to loose from making contact, could save a trip to the bodyshop for paint! Dent Devils Crease Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 new bl**** rabbitts are only £15 and still taste like chicken *bites lip about cat* Quote
