Darrell O'Neill Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Don't all ford owners do that in the end? Quote
Crash Override Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Could they not of ripped out the alarm system and had Thatcham install a new one at least that way it would have been done right. Quote
steve wilson Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I think i'd have done the same as jeremy. You spend all that money on a car and you cant even drive it. It would only be the same for us if we bought a brand new west from the factory and the alarm kept going off or something else kept going wrong. You just would'nt have it and you would loose all faith in the car. Quote
Blatman Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 But I have never profited from my position as a motoring journalist. And I never will. Bank loan for the GT40 was it Jezza? Or did Francine agree to a second mortgage? Just how did an ordinary bloke from the midlands manage to score 1 of only 28 GT40's that are bound for the UK anyway? Advance knowledge perhaps? Call me cynical... As for the car, I think I'd ask Ford for a road going DBRS9... Quote
a4drk Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Well it's the good old saying:- What does FORD stand for ? FIX OR REPAIR DAILY !!!! He should have kept his SL 55 AMG Quote

Anyone who can afford to buy Langness Point lighthouse I.O.M. for a summer home , £100K is peanuts between the lines I think he was dissapointed in the thing escp. as Mr Edmonds was a constant source of annoyance cos he has the pukker jobbie in his garage ( not that he would rub it in clarksons face ) Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Call me cynical... No I think jealous is more what I was thinking of Quote
Blatman Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Not something I suffer with. I do like a journo who's lost sight and touch with the world, and then displays it so readily... Mornin' mate. How's the weather? Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Good Monday looks like it could be pants today There will be a Saturday and Sunday sprint on at St Eval on the 30th and 31st of June fancey it? Quote

Oops yep July sorry must be I was too busy to eat anything during the day yesterday and is made me loose track of time.
