Carl Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Like JC or not he's got himself a good job. Being chased by a tank in a RR sport Mucking around in Boxster / SLK for the day whilst being shot at Borrowing a SLR to thrash across 8 countries Weekly advertising for AM to get to the top of the list for a cheap AM V8 Can't really blame him, what would you do Quote
geelhoed Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 they seem to have forgotten their rule that it must be able to easily get over a standard speed bump - or whatever it was they invented to exclude the XTR2 and Radical times. can't see some of the supercars they have had on recently meeting that rule (i.e. that Maserati thing based on an Enzo). They have a button on the dash that raises the whole car hydraulically to get over those damn things! Quote
Liam Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 the noise of that DB9 was something special Hmmm, it's remarkably similar to a certain red car, with the same number of cylinders, prepared by a certain team previously Quote
Guest Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 What's this DBRS9 Thought you said you watched it? DBRS9 is a road going DBR9. Comes with a cage and carbon fibre body (and an ally roof). It'd be an excellent car for track days and trips to Le Mans, but at 180 grand, as Clarkson said, do you buy a car or a bungalow? But why didn't they take that one on the track?? Then the time would have been eligible. not seen it run anywhere .....suspec that currently it does not run , was display only at goodwood as well ...... that would explain it norunnerdom. Quote
Blatman Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Yup, I suspect it's a display car or a developement car but with no running gear or somesuch... Quote
