Took the Westie for a pre SVA MOT today and it passed on everything apart from an incorrect headlight pattern on the drivers side, checked the bulb was correctly seated. WF are sending a replacement. The emissions were a bit marginal but passed. So bring on the SVA on the 18th  :D  :D  :D  :D

PS Had great fun on the 5 mile round trip to the MOT station.    :D  :D

That's good - role on 18th. Dunno what WF do to these headlights, mine were same. Hope they don't give you the one I sent back :p

I doubt they will yours are chrome & mine are black. Still a bit concerned about the emissions though - they were very borderline pass, but pass they did.

Thought we resolved this issue last Thursday or did you two have an argument in the car on the way home?  :D  :p

Emissions apparenetly OK, spoke to Mark @ WF. The MOT bloke tested it on the emissions for current engines, mine should have been for older cat equipped engines. My engine (1.8 zetec) should have no more than 0.3% CO2, mine was 0.2% which is what the new limit is. Not sure of the dates of manufacture for these limits, but Mark says if it has RKC in the engine number the limit is 0.3% CO2.

So, just need to change the headlight, cover all the sharp edges, and it's ready for SVA.

Fish, the other emissions are sorted - no more baked beans for me :p  :D
