Blatman Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 T W O = Two Wheels Only, a bike mag... I think I'd take Autosport out of that lot... Quote
pistonbroke Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Motor Sport gets my best read vote ! Cant beat a touch of the old nostalgia Not interested in modern F1 petropolitics Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 PPC would get my vote if it was up there Quote
SallyH Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Motorsport is excellent for more historic F1 technology, unfortunately £4.40, but excellent quality and pictures. Autosport - More upto date but quality lacks due to probably being a weekly (although we do some freelance stuff for them - plug plug) Covers a wider range of events. F1 - Obviously focuses on F1, tend's to glorify the driver's a bit too much for my liking, but once again good quality and good pic's. AutoCar - too many ad's for my liking, but they have to make their money somehow. S8ight's suggestion is a good un', Retro Sport is a good read, good pic's good quality but you have to be into that stuff to really appreciate it. What about Motorsport News? Although it's a rag, it does cover quite alot, is reasonably priced, weekly, unfortunately the picture quality isn't just as good as a mag (have you gathered I'm a photographer yet)!? But they do cover a vast amount of events and there are bargains to be got in the classifieds? Sal Quote
