pistonbroke Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Why didn't the seven Michelin shod teams run Bridgestones instead? Teams are obliged to honour the contract with there tyre supplier . History relates that we never had racing on a level playing field when 2 or more tyre suppliers have been used . I just hope some sense comes out of all this mess If they have to use multiple tyre manufacturers, what's to stop them using control rubber and checking the compound after each race ? Any one remember J Stewart at Zandvoort and the Nurburging using Dunlop wets ? No competition Quote
