Nice but I'd be looking at something bigger than a 1.4.

don't discard the smaller engines, still quick enougth to fill your pants with!!  :D

I just thought that you had mentioned changing the engine at sometime and that looked a great car for the money...  :t-up:

Good point, I hadn't realised what you were getting at.

I think I'll look around for a basic engined model around £5k with the view to chucking another engine in later, as you suggested.

That's what I wished I had done  ;)

I spent 12 months seeking out the perfect car, travelling the length of the country looking  :arse: I ended up paying over the budget I had set myself.

Now I have her (and she's a cracker)   everytime I walk in the garage the list of things I want to change, upgrade and improve grows   but my budget has been exhausted for the moment

Get yourself to a local meet and ask around, kick tyres and blag a blat  :t-up:

As others have said the forum and club is a wealth of info and help. Get your wallet out and join up  ;) we're not a bad bunch really  :D  :D

I just read a writeup on a Westie owner doing a twin ZX6R conversion, fantastic write up.

I'll try and get along to a meet, I'm based in Hampshire.
