Put the old one back on

At least I can push it back into the garage single-handedly again now :t-up:

Had to fix it myself (forgot my mobile so didn't have the "Phone a friend" option)

So what did Andy do then? Stand around in his overalls and look pretty????

Andy, if you havnt done it already - then pull the gaiters back and shove loads of grease  in there - turn the wheel back and forth lots, then put some more in, then re-fit the gaiters - that should sort you out in the short term until you get the new rack fitted - If you have to much backlash of there is a noticable knock when the scrutineers wiggle the wheel, then you may not get through - a load of grease should quiten it down a bit, worked for me at MIRA this year.

good luck, see you sunday.

cheers

Chris

Sounds like you have steerage again Andy.

Well, only the sloppy old one.

Will the Scuter be around on Saturday? Would be nice to have an opinion before deciding whether to strip the whole lot down again...

Final Instructions, running orders etc. are now posted onto website for download on the Speed Series pages. Copies of all relevant information will be sent directly via e-mail to all registered entrants - so there will be a double hit for issue of information to all drivers, so no excuses.
