Big R
as the title asks - any tips for cutting carbon effect plastic sheet ? Is a fine tooth hacksaw the best option ?

chappers
I first tried a jig saw but the front of the blade cut it and it just welded back together with a seam at the back of the blade due to the heat build-up. . Next time I'd try a hack saw blade or sharp knife instead, but after roughly cutting it oversize, the dremel tidied it up very nicely. Blackdog
Use a variable speed jigsaw, set it on a slow cut and use a fairly fine blade- this seems to stop it ' hot welding' itself back together again. For any straight cuts use a normal hand saw.Medium to fine sandpaper sees of any irregularities.
