SVA Pass

Hi All

Took my sport 1800 to SVA yesterday at Beverley and passed first time, I am well chuffed. Beverley test centre were great and it only took about an hour and a half. The examiner spent about an hour of that fiddling around under the car with it on the ramp, writing loads of things down, I was sure he was going to fail it.

He picked me up on two things out of intrest which were:

Windscreen wipers leaving a blind spot in the middle of the screen - I just lifted the drivers side wiper up an inch so it went futher across the screen.

Fog lamp switch indicating it was on when it wasn't with just the side lights on - So i just picked up a permenant live to feed the fog light switch.

Just need to talk to the DVLA now and try and get a plate (should be fun.)

Thanks for all the help received during the build

Jack T :)

Cheers everyone

It is a great feeling and and the upgrades have already begun.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of the Leeds DVLA office?

Congratulations  :t-up:

I have sent off the SVA forms for mine. Is there a fixed number of first time passe each year, if so, hopefully they won't be used up by the middle of July   ???  :p
