NEW SS1 Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 My Big Bruvva is getting married on December 2nd (Friday) and has always had a thing about Porsches so without him knowing I plan to take him to the chuch in a 911... Anyone recommend someone who hires them out? I looked at prestigecarhire.co.uk but they are in London and my Bruvva lives in Blackburn... delivery was £175 on top of the £325 hire fee. I will be up there for a week beforehand so cant drive down and fetch it so need someone more local! Dan Quote
jeff oakley Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 Just a thought, is there a Porsche dealer near by? JCT600 perhaps, they might lend you one, good publicity, or know someone, local who might hire it for the day. Or ring Porsche uk in Reading they might be able to help. Jeff Quote

NEW SS1 Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 Well that depends where local is... I am in Lincoln but my brother in UP NORTH.... Quote
Barry Ashcroft Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Weston Super Mare , Somerset so a no go unfortunatly. I would go with trying a local dealer near your brother some of these places love the publicity, especially if you can get the local rag to do a small piece " local car dealer to the rescue " sort of thing.
