steve_m Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 All you need is to run the turbo car on rail way lines and it might corner like a BEC I had mine back on the road again for the first time this year (Dax Rush Hayabusa) and even though it's about 480 Kg it still gets to 100 so quickly that it was a bit intimidating driving it again for the first time. Soon got used to it again, still needs more power. All those 1/4 mile times above are a bit optimistic Never seen or heard of a n/a BEC doing it in less than about 12.4s or so. Quote
JeffC Posted June 4, 2005 Author Posted June 4, 2005 dont suppose this will excite you then... at wheels figures.. Quote

Yup, I'd say nearer 12.8-13 for mine with the R1, certainly not sub 12. Ive only ever done one 1/4 mile and got 13.4 with the blade, at the same event a ZX12 ST Locost did a 12.5 Quote

Ive only ever done one 1/4 mile and got 13.4 with the blade, at the same event a ZX12 ST Locost did a 12.5 How does the R1 performance compare to the blade in a car, im guessing it will be a fair bit quicker my zx12 was a big lump quicker than a megablade .. I reckon a busa over a quarter mile would be a good car length ahead of a zx12 , or that was the outcome when put me busa head to head with the zx12. both more or less the same weights.. busa had extra 13bhp and 20lb feet of torque at the wheels on the same rolling road..
