Rolling road results

Just picked my car up from JP Autotechnics at Aughton, Sheffield.  Took it in there as it was running a bit rough having not been tuned for some years.

They set up the carbs, balanced, set ignition and fuelling.

Car now running much smoother .... looks like they did a good job.  Here's my rolling road results, curious to know how this compares with other CVH's (having done a quick search and these figures appear fairly typical for a 1.6 CVH twin 40's std cam, maybe a tad above average?).

3rd gear 104BHP @ wheels @ 6000rpm

4th gear 97 BHP @ wheels @ 6000rpm.

117 BHP @ flywheel.

seems just fine and dandy for a standard engine  :D  :D  :D

Yup.  As was mine.

I'm lookng forward to what my turbo-charged variant kicks out :D

Yeah, I want a ring side seat when the touch paper is light for the first time. :p  :D  :p

Well it almost worked yesterday....almost :(

Oil pressure ....check

Fuel pump triggered by ECU... check

Dead battery....check  :bangshead:

So close  :down:  :bangshead:

Don't worry Neil...we'll get there
