I have had this all happen before, I was able to buy it back as scrap (20%) and repair it my self. Cat D repair Someone has told me that the law has changed and now it HAS to go to auction. JeffC Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 fairly sure will differ from insurance co.dont think its law they have to but most things now go to auction as they know they will achieve a higher sale price. , if you still have the bike in your possesion hit them with a high storage bill and deduct it from the price of the bike. it may influence there decision..
