Walk in bath/ plastic moulding

Recommended Posts

I seem to remember Nick 'x' has a plastics moulding company.. which Nick would that be?

the reason i'm asking is cos we want to replace my grandparents bath with a walk in shower unit. I remember using one on a campsite that was a 3 sided plastic moulding incorporating the base. It was about the right size to simply slot into the gap left by removing a bath.

Any one have any idea where i might source something like this?

Not the same sort of plastic as Nick deals with.   They are available from specialists.   We looked into one for my mum not long ago.   A search of the internet will throw up all the info you need.

Neil is right on this one. We make the shower trays for caravan's but not this type which I think is fibreglass. As Neil suggests an internet search should help. Alternatively talk to your local hospital / disbility shop as they should know who make these.

its more an open job that we're looking for.

expect to have to be able to wheel him in in the not too distant future!

The current mobility specialists offer ones with all the bells and whistles that look like disability showers.. not ideal i dont think.

i know exactly what we want... but i've only seen aything like it stateside.

thanks though.
