Can anyone help me out with an electrical wiring query. I have a wiring harness for a Westfield Zetec Fuel Injection (approx 4 yrs old). I have one connector which is oval shaped and marked 'AMP 962159' it's a 12-way plug and is wired as follows:

Pin 1 - White

Pin 2 - Brown/White

Pin 3 - Black/White

Pin 4 - Black

Pin 5 - Green/Black

Pin 6 - Not Used

Pin 7 - Brown

Pin 8 - Red Black

Pin 9 - Not Used

Pin 10 - Not Used

Pin 11 - Not USed

Pin 12 - Not Used

From the original wiring diagram I still have the only plug on the harness it may be is the "Injection Loom Plug Term 827040-2 MLDG 963103-1"

Is this by any chance the plug detailed above and if so does anyone know what should be fed from each of the connections.

Other query I have is where does this plug normally reside when the loom has been installed in the car. At the moment the plug appears to come out just underneath the front scuttle panel, so will be sitting just above the gearbox. Is this where it would normally sit ?

On my 1800 Zetec with std injection this plug sits up under the short chassis member that runs across the corner above the master cylinders. RHS just in case your building a left hooker.

On mine this plugs into the engine loom, although IIRC the plug on the engine has to be changed (No of pins is different).

This was done on mine when it came from WF but I remember reading something in the destructions.

As Flappa says, the engine side was pre-wired by WF on mine. This is located just in front of the bulkhead on RHS above the steering column and master cylinders, as in background.

Sorry, can't help with pin-outs.
