Steve20
Have read several threads stating such things as lights to be positioned minimum distance from the floor etc, does this refer to the bottom edge of the lense or the centre line ?
mark.anson
not too sure of the answer to your question but if you are building a new kit, the light positions should be ok for SVA. You will need to use the spacers in the SVA kit though on the headlights. If you look on LeonBs website there is a link so you can download a copy of the SVA manual. Hope this helps. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Not sure about the headlights, but the bottom edge of the lens on your front indicators needs to be a minimum of 350mm off the ground.
KerryS
I passed SVA 2 weeks ago without the spacers fitted, they're needed more to stop cycle wings touching headlights but if ride height is set to manual should be OK anyway. I thought headlights had to be 500mm minimum to the extreme edge of the reflector, it's the rears that have to be 350mm minimum.
