Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I'm wondering who's finding who competative at the moment for insurance. Just got my renewal quote for this year, and after finding A.Flux competative last year thought i'd ring round. Seems there's quite a variation.

Who do you use???       ???      ???

Yeah, funny that...I mean, it's not like owners of cars like these are going to want to insure them are they? ???

Footman James for my insurance, cheap quote and they never asked any silly questions about modifications etc

do a search is a crap reply, scottish bloke asked who is doing a good deal at the moment, like norwich union did when they bought hhh for renewals!

i stayed with footman james because they reduced mine from a reasonable £325 to a damned good £250! for an 04 seight!

searching the past for current deals is like looking at yesterdays weather forecast!

Not really. A search will bring up a good list of people who have been competitive in the past. Generally, these same people will be competitive now.

My recent post suggesting to search for Flux was for a different reason...

Sureterm are always very competitive  :t-up:

A search will also give you lots of background on why certain companies may quote very low prices and why that's not necessarily a good thing.

I was a bit concerned when HHH were becoming Norwich Union...thought my premium would rocket.....but how wrong was I???

They knocked £75 off my previous yrs premium

andy my point was, not everyone who uses this forum works in it, and therefore may not be familiar with the search function! :t-up:

when blatman tells folks to do a search he usually does a search for them first and supplies links and explains the search function!  :D

thats very helpful to us country bumpkins who are not too familiar with these computers!

after all does it take much more effort to type, "yes my insurance firm have done me a good deal"  and they are so and so....

That's true. However, as the information I was hinting at isn't particularly complementary to the company being discussed, I didn't want to be the one posting it (IYSWIM).
