Numptie Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Vid of my last run on Sunday here. Thought you peeps daan saaf might be interested to see a Jockish track. Text on the link sez it all. It takes 'kin ages to load (125meg ) so a right click / save as is prolly better than streaming it. Wind the video on about 60 seconds for the actual start line - I had to press record in the tyre warming area. Oh, BTW, I know I'm slow but now, with Nana's ACB10's on, I'm not as slow as I used to be. Cheers, N Quote
Fraser Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 What were your times? From the video, run looked around 95s? Quote
Numptie Posted May 19, 2005 Author Posted May 19, 2005 What were your times? From the video, run looked around 95s? Aye, my target for the day was a sub 95 and this one (last timed run) was a 94.94 so I was chuffed enough. I'm never ever going to be competitive in my class so I just go for personal bests and to have a good time. Cheers, N Quote
Fraser Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 That's the best attitude to go with, and you beat your target so mission accomplished From what I've seen from other footage, and having spectated and spoken to others in the past, Kames is a tricky track to get right. I saw a guy mince his Escort into the tyres last year at the bottom corner by simply putting one tyre on the grass. And Colin Murchie (who's been doing it for a few years) had an off in his Locost just before the top hairpin. Good spectator venue though! Quote
