fatbaldbloke Posted May 20, 2005 Share Posted May 20, 2005 I don't know if this will help, but I have a VX220T where the dash is held in fundamentally by double sided sticky foam tape. (There's a couple of self tappers as well but most of the work is done by the tape). Much the same principle as the earlier suggestions of velcro - modern adhesives really do seem to be a viable alternative to traditional fixings and give just a tiny bit of damping to take out the vibration that tends to loosen orthodox fasteners. SteveF Posted May 25, 2005 Share Posted May 25, 2005 What you really need is something like a small bolt with a big flat / thin head on which you can glue to the back of the dashbord, and then carry as you would've with the old dash.
