PhilH Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Seem to remember a guy on the C2C 2 or 3 years ago who said he lost his bonnet into a tree .Climbed the tree ,and retreived it with no damage! Quote
7SE Posted May 24, 2005 Author Posted May 24, 2005 Well Haggis was a fantastic weekend and someone did experience a lifting moment and it was a Westfield owner, resident on this board, I'll step back now and give him the opportunity to 'fess-up... Quote
david.c Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 Well mine came off the side and under my rear wheels! So I vote over my head in light of no other suitable option Saw exactly this at a track day last Saturday felt sorry for the owner, as he had already had to drill his steering lock off, coz he had left his keys at home David Quote

Bronco Jr Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Yes have lost the bonnet twice, the second time with my 10 year old in the car, "cool, can we do that again Daddy..." "errrmmm no" Also managed to jetison my nearside headlamp at Curborough (swear it was faster atfer that) These dont even compare with my Trailor expedition where said appendage overtook me (seriously) and ran into a 4x4 comming the other way (from the school run) But thats not even my best.... Nurburgring, quick wheel swop on the rear and who didnt do up the wheel nuts??? made for an interesting line over the bridge at addenau.... Now, passenger ride anyone? Quote
