Highbury Hose

Hi Gary dont want to bad mouth anyone just when I have been told on two occasions that I will be called back and have not been I got a little peeved.  I have spoken to Kevin (seems like a very nice chap) this morning and have been told that my hose should be with me on Wednesday. He said it would be in two parts i.e. and standard 90 deg bend and a 135 deg bend so I am guessing it is something they would have on the shelf. I have even asked for the normal blue colour so as to make things easy. So its not going to even be a one off. Like I have said I did not want to bad mouth hence the update to say I will be getting my hose tomorrow.

If you happened to ask my customers if they have been happy with the service I have given them I know that most of them would say they are happy due to the amount of repeat business that we get.  So would not be though and I have to work on the areas that they have not been happy.

Just want an up front answer and tell me if it can’t be done for a couple of weeks. Is that to much to ask?

Depends on the weather. If it's gonna be not raining, then there's a good chance we'll be down. I'm just trying to negotiate bringing the sprint car down on the trailer so that we can get it on yer Motoliner... mmmmm bank holiday and towing. Nice...

Guess what hose did not turn up on Wednesday. I thought well it may turn up on Thursday morning so will leave phoning till then. Just rung Highbury Hose and asked what has happened to my hose to be told its due out today for delivery Friday its being made today.   what is going on. If the hose does not turn up Friday will go and get something from Rally Design in Samco. This will be a bit of a pity as I wanted to do my Zetec car in silicon hose and there are some work applications that I could have used Highbury for.

I would call rally design mate i orderd some hoses from them monday 11am got them tues 9.30am!! Unless its a one off pay the extra and get them on time.

Yep I am going to give Highbury one last chance to get it right if the hose does not turn up on Friday that’s it. It was not the price that made me go to Highbury but the chance of having a hose made to my spec. It looks like they are just going to send two standard bends, which was not what I wanted, and I could have had Samco ones 10 days ago.

Just an update the hose landed this morning. The hose looks to be just what I need just a shame that the part has been let down by lack of communication. Even if the hose could not be sorted for the two weeks that it has taken just to be told would have satisfied me. Would I use Highbury Hose again well it would have to be something that I could not get sorted elsewhere first. A great pity as this should have been of some help to my business as well as me personally. I am not saying dont use H.H. just be warned if you need it in a hurry it could be a problem. I wish Highbury all the best just please do not say you will ring or deliver if you cant make the deadline.
