Mitchamidilly
I have a 2.0l Zetec Engine for sale as it is unsuitable for my build using Webber 45's. Although I have not heard the engine running it was bought from another Westfield club member and is in a tidy condition. I have checked the bearing journals and they appear fine so would be ideal for someone suffering from upgraditus. Reason for selling.... SPACE! Make me an offer. I may be able to deliver for a small fee (to cover fuel) within 100 motoway miles of Birmingham.
itguy
Why is it unsuitable?
Pembroke Pat
because it is not pre august '95. I would be difficult to get it to pass SVA unless you put in a sacrificial cata converter.... ....easier to get an engine froma scrappy. but if the car is going to be Q plated then you only have smoke to worry about for mot so you could put it in after SVA (i.e. spare engine)
corsechris
Mitchamidilly, you have a PM.....
Mitchamidilly
As stated above it is unsuitable as I need an engine pre Aug95 for my build with carbs. This engine is Feb96 I believe it to be the high output 2.0l (135ps) as there are oil spray pipes under the pistons although will stand corrected if anyone knows different. Engine is stripped to block, head and rocker cover i.e. minus anciliaries and will come without a flywheel. Not a bad thing as you wil need a lighter flywheel from a 1.8l. John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison
Still perfect if someone already has a registered car to convert from X/F or CVH etc as no worries about engine age.... John
