I was driving down the M40 in the Westie this morning and noticed that I wasn't getting the usual funny looks from drivers of normal cars...their attention seemed to be elsewhere...then I saw why !

Have a careful look at the picture at the bottom. Yep, that's right, it's a two seater  :durr: That takes some bottle to drive that down the inside lane at 70mph

As an aeroscreened driver, that actually looks quite pleasant. Rather be in that, than my Westy on the motorway!

....course I'd not go up the M40, I'd go thru the cotswolds.

RL500... I wonder if its derived from the R500...

Am I going blind (for reasons best known to myself) or is it actually a THREE seater.

Three men went to mow . . . . but she wasn't in. The end.

I think you are right ! DIdn't notice that at work on our titchy monitors.

It's an amazing car anyway, looks so unstable as it drives along with just two wheels visible. And it's so low it's scary, doesn't come much higher than my rollbar. Must be very clostrophobic (sp?) in there.

The really sad bit though was the first thought that went through my head when I saw it was "how on earth did he get that through the SVA ?" :durr:

Maybe its excempt?

Firstly I think 3 wheelers below 450kgs are exempt.

Then, I think there are special laws for lawnmowers/steam rollers/agricultural vehicles etc arent there?

Seem to remember something in the small print on my driving license about these sort of vehicles!
