Pepi Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'm not a trolley sloucher, quite the opposite in fact. If i go down an aisle with nobody in it i speed up, lean onto the trolley and take my feet off the floor - childish but fun and makes shopping more enjoyable!!!! I do that too (it really annoys the wife!!! Its the only thing that makes shopping fun but you have to watch you don't get into a four wheel drift and always make sure you don't have the trolley with the steering defect!! Quote
oldman Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'm like a slug until I hit the booze secton Then I'm like an octopus on speed Quote

Captain Flimble Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Anyone remember the game 'asteroids' we used to play in the eighties. I play a similar game with supermarket trolleys. The basic idea is that you can rotate your rocket (trolley) left or right, or thrust straight forward. On no account must you hit the asteroids (people, shelves, checkouts) or that's the end of the game (shopping trip). In the best variation of this game (means of getting arrested) is the one in which you can blow up the asteroids to make them easier to avoid - this requires blasters (tins of beans), but I haven't tried it yet.
