1300 xflow

hi all,i was filling in my sva form last night and it asks for a top speed. im running a 1300 x-flow with a type 9 gear box and a sierra diff with a ratio of 3.97 i think

what would be a realistic top speed for me to fill in?

also is it true that they have changed kit cars from a Q plate?

My 1300 XF tops out at about 105mph, spec:

single downdraught carb

standard 1300 GT cam

4 speed box, so top gear is 1:1

3.9 diff

aeroscreen

545Kg

Expect full windscreen to lop 5-10 mph off top speed.  If you put 110mph as your max speed, you won't go faster!

just make sure that its less than the speed rating on your tyres.
