EDITED 05/04 to show what has sold EDITED 08/04 to show what has been bid for on eBAy EDITED 10/04 to remove the bits that are sold or held for people The new bits first: From a 130 PS Escort 1.8 Zetec: 1. Motorcraft type 488A Clutch kit (Sachs type M240) for 2.0l Flywheel 2. Crankcase breather oil separator (including Non-return valve). Other NEW bits bought in February 2005 to finish the 115PS remanufactured engine listed at the bottom: 1. Genuine Ford Mondeo type Water pump (Not suitable for Westies) 2. Thermostat housing including thermostat as fitted to Westies. 3. Lower (small thread) temperature sensor for 2 above) 4. Camshaft and crankshaft cam belt pulleys 5. Crankcase breather oil separator (no NRV). 6. Westfield cable clutch pedal 7. Clutch cable and bushes. Now the used bits: From a 1999 115PS Mondeo 1.8 Zetec: 1. Injector rail (938F-9D280-CA will fit above) fitted with 958F-BB injectors 2. Water pump (not suitable for Westies) 3. Camshaft and crankshaft cam belt pulleys 5. Cam belt plastic covers 4. Thermostat housing with thermostat and both temperature sensors (as fitted to Westies) 5. Engine less ancillaries and all the above, but including camshafts and cover. Other used bits: MT75 gearbox (cable type), plus two release arms (one with, one without bearing). 1.8 Zetec Flywheels (2 off, one OK, the other has a circular groove that could be skimmed out at the edge of where the clutch driven plate sits) Lastly, A remanufactured 1.8 Zetec (115PS) with receipt. Just the block, sump, head and camshaft cover with all the bits you woud expect to find inside. There are no ancillaries, no water pump, thermostat housing, cam timing gear or covers (cos they are all listed separately above).

Morbius Posted March 22, 2005 Author Posted March 22, 2005 Can't remember exactly how much I paid for it, and the receipt has gone walkies, but it was at least £30 plus VAT from the motor factors last month. How does £25 plus postage sound? The genuine Ford part is about £65 plus VAT if the Mondeo part is anything to go by. Postage should be less than a tenner, unless you are passing by Newport, and can pick it up.
