Wiper motor position and wiring connector

Recommended Posts

Getting to the later stages of the build, and we've discovered that although the wiper motor seems to mount on the passenger side of the scuttle (From the diagrams, looking at the parts and how they fit etc), the wiring connector for it comes out of the harness on the drivers side and won't stretch over. I've no problem extending this, but just wondered if anyone else had experienced this issue.

Did not build my car, however looking at it, there are no joins in the wiring (between loom + wiper motor connector)

Note the length of wire - join from loom to wiper motor is about 40cm + connnector.

Had the same problem, westfield do an extention lead for this

I have just finished that part of my build and had exactly the same problem, i just extended the loom. But why dont westfield tell you about this in the manual and provide you with an extention loom in the kit.

Hi  You should make note that the loom is for a real

Westfield ie. the narrow body, they got it right the first

time.  Cheers :p  :p  :p  :D
