wacomuk Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 what would i need to do to get a 2.0 zetec to 165+bhp oh and what bhp will the standard clutch hold ? thanks Quote
adhawkins Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 165 shouldn't be too hard I wouldn't have thought. My bog standard 2 litre Zetec on carbs was over 150. Andy Quote
adhawkins Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Depends if it's the one with the naff spacer on the bearing... Andy Quote

Thrustyjust Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Standard zetec with throttle bodies just got me 175bhp on Monday!!! Quote
markcoopers Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 About 5 pints of guinness and an attentive pup audience should do it. Quote
perksy Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 New set of cam's & a re map should get you bhp180+, with new Xaust m'fold should see bhp190'ish Add a Nice Ported Head and your into 200 BHP territory Quote
Gromit Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Twin 45`s and cams gives me about 180-185. If I changed to a decent 4-2-1 exhaust it should be pushing 195-200. Atherwise the engines stock. Quote
