studbuckle Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Before I go hunting on the darkside.... what's price working out at? Quote
a4gom Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Word of warning, try before you buy. I've just got some SG1's, they are spot on with the elastic strap i.e warn like goggles but if I was to wear them with the arms on !!!! They are massive, stick out a good 3/4 inch each side of my face. I think the elastic will be left on and they will remain in the car i'll travel with a seperate pair for out of the car. I look like a 4 year old wearing adults glasses! Don't know who these were designed for. I had a look on the web site and they do make models for the narrower face! Quote
Jon Murray Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I was so impressed with the XL1's I got from the first bulk buy on Blatchat, that I immediately ordered a second pair when the 2nd bulk buy came along. They are great and do their job of staying on your head. It's also worth butying extra lenses if you have the chance. One very small gripe is that they can mist up slightly, especially on hot days when you are hot / sweaty, but they soon de-mist if you 'scruch' your face up and let a bit of air in the sides - not pretty but effective ! They're not the sort of thing you would wear walking down the street though, unless you want to look a complete tw*t - definately one for in the car only! Quote
jonlewis Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I always look like a t**t walking down the street... Thats why I like em Quote
KenE Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Ha!! You don;t mind coming over to the "dark side" when it suits you eh? Quote
