Andrew Posted March 23, 2002 Share Posted March 23, 2002 Just been out for a first drive in my newly built 2.0 SE, first impressions are, mental acceleration in all gears, None of the rattles and knocks I was expecting to sort out, Engine temp using the Polo rad never went over 85, Driver temp, freezing!, but better after I wrapped up. I've done around 90 miles today, and nothing has fallen off, broken or melted! For the life of me, I can't think why anyone needs more power, how long does it take for that bug to bite!? P.S. I don't think it took very long.. I went from 105bhp, to 115bhp, 135bhp, 140 and ended up at 170bhp by 2007.
