Maiden Blatt

Just been out for a first drive in my newly built 2.0 SE, first impressions are, mental acceleration in all gears, None of the rattles and knocks I was expecting to sort out, Engine temp using the Polo rad never went over 85, Driver temp, freezing!, but better after I wrapped up.

I've done around 90 miles today, and nothing has fallen off, broken or melted!

For the life of me, I can't think why anyone needs more power, how long does it take for that bug to bite!?

 :p  :p  :p  ;)  :)  :d  :p  :p  :p

P.S.  Do Westfields "Blatt", or is that word reserved for "the others"?  ???

That's a standard 105bhp Pinto with a standard type nine box.

 I don't think it took very long.. I went from 105bhp, to 115bhp, 135bhp, 140 and ended up at 170bhp by 2007.

A little more would be nice.. :t-up:

Was mooching round my profile page.. didn't realise how easy it was to view old threads. Clicked on the last page of my "content" .. and the rest .. is history. ;)

Here's a bit of NE history. First monthly meet:
