Leon B Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Anyone going to watch? Its literally in my front garden so I'll be walking straight into the forest to see the action. Been pretty good in the past, only problem now is it seems to be dominated by Scoobs and Evos, not much of the old Escort Mk2's or 6r4's. Sunseeker Rallye Quote
RICHARD+PHILIP Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 we usually go not sure about this year Head into the forest you get a much better view than the stupid spectator stages. (your able to wander along the stages at will) Phil Quote
Joff Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Head into the forest you get a much better view than the stupid spectator stages. (your able to wander along the stages at will) (Not trying to be a killjoy or clever-git in anyway.) As we are all aware Motorsport IS dangerous and cars travelling at fast speeds through forests can do unpredictable things. As a rally marshal ( MSA registered and trained) if you are going to just wander along the stages at will, be very careful and I'd just like to mention the spectator on the Wyedean Forest Rally who got pinned to a tree by a competitor 2 weeks ago who had to be air-lifted to hospital in a critical state. I know we are all there at our own risk, but bad things can happen. If you do go, it should be a good one with all the snow we are having at the moment. Quote

Joff Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Richard and Philip know what they're doing... Im not in any way saying that they dont, just be careful thats all. BTW the only press publicity that the Wyedean event got was because of the spectator! Quote
