cast iron Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 At 13:45. A whole half hour of 'Talking Heads' Wow - I must remember to stop shovelling snow in order to watch it! After all their hype about F1 and WRC coverage, ITV are going backwards. I might have to go and buy a satellite dish after all. Oi you, get on with fitting them seats If they arrived? Quote
pistonbroke2 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 F1 Pre-view.God if the racing is as dull as this programme then we can forget the coming season. How much did it cost ITV to put this very poor show together . D.C. acting like a kid with his first Vid. Cam. Ive honestly seen far better footage on this website. Ha Well it goes well with the after dinner nap. At least we didnt get an hour of Corporate Crud. Mark Stanton Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 You guys fall for it everytime You watch anything F1 expecting to be entertained and then note your dissapointment when it turns out to be a load of boring drivel When will you learn Get along to your local circuit and watch some proper racing ............ it doesn't matter that the cars haven't got XXXBHP and all the latest gizmos Taxiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Quote
S8ight Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 went upto three sisters yesterday, even the cadets where more interesting than F1 Quote
Eccentric_Rich Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 ....and they're not even going to change tyres during the race now (unless it rains), there goes the excitement and anticipation of a cross-threaded wheel nut!! Still at least it frees up my Saturday lunch times and Sunday afternoons! Quote
Owen9364 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Get along to your local circuit and watch some proper racing ............ it doesn't matter that the cars haven't got XXXBHP and all the latest gizmos Well said that man Quote
Mark Stanton Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 To be honest some of the closest and exciting races I've watched over recent years is the LoCost stuff with their 1300 X-Flows - you just never know whats gonna happen next ........................... except that at some time Mr Robinson will lose a cycle wing Quote
Guest Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 F1 at the moment is on the same level as "Bid Brother". Difficult to convince yourself that if you switch off you may miss the only interesting thing that ever happens. Snooker is in the same class - mind blowingly dull but somhow addictive. I will see my psychiatrist tommorrow. Oi you, get on with fitting them seats If they arrived? No they didn't - nor did the belts! Quote
