steve wilson Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 My work car is only an M reg 106d and some gitts cloned it. I got a penalty ticket through the post saying that i'd been in London at 11.45pm. I havnt been to London for 2 years and that was on the train. I've asked them for the photos cos mine is really distinctive. Quote
Blatman Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 11.45 PM is outside the congestion charge period, which runs between 07.30AM, and 6.30PM........ Quote

Snowy Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 20 miles north of stanstead airport on the M11. Fantastic day out, they fired up a sabre on the day I went, makes the noise my westy makes quite feeble. Perhaps this would make a good outing next year for Westies! Quote
Martin Keene Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 hmmmm, NASA website might have to have a wee look at that one later! Quote

david.c Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Somebody I used to work with lost his license (as in mislaid it) a few years previously, got a replacement and thought no more of it. A few years later he went to Amsterdam for a weekend, got mugged and had his wallet & passport stolen. He then duly went to the police and British Consulate to get papers to travel home with. As he arrived back in the UK he had a nice little welcome party of police waiting for him, who took him to the local nick and put him in a cell. It turned out somebody had been using his license, been nicked, failed to show at court etc and had a warrant for his arrest issued. Thankfully my colleague was Scottish and 5' 4" and the crooked bas**** was from Newcastle and was 6' 2". David Quote
