karlgurney Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 My friend has a Sierra XR4x4 2.9v6 on a H plate with 140,000 on the clock. I suggested advertising on here for him and he is willing to break it for spares if there is enough interest, all parts apart from the engine are avaliable. Cheers Karl
Blatman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 May be interested in some bits off the engine, possibly the power steering pump/mounts, maybe some inlet stuff, and maybe the engine loom, and maybe more... It'd handy if we could come for a gander at some point. We'll bring cash, a winning attitude and you may get some free advice from a LM GT engineer... email blatmanuk@yahoo.co.uk Ta
VX2L16V Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 all parts apart from the engine are avaliable. ahem
Thrustyjust Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 diffs still up,as my mate's 'just' bought one.........
Blatman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 all parts apart from the engine are avaliable. ahem Don't want the engine. I want parts that may be attached to the engine. And if I don't ask, I'll never know if the engine went with or without it's ancillaries...
karlgurney Posted February 15, 2005 Author Posted February 15, 2005 I'll pass all the info and details on tonight and get back to you all soon, cheers for the interest Karl
Daniel Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 What ratio is the diff please? Also is it definately LSD?
karlgurney Posted February 16, 2005 Author Posted February 16, 2005 Acording to the westfield manual it is a lsd i got my diff off one of his old xr4x4, and i think most of the xr4x4 2.9's are 3.62.
Blatman Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 An XR4x4 2.9 definitely has an LSD, and as Karl has said, there is every chance it's a 3.62...
scruffythefirst Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 there is every chance it's a 3.62... Thats what mine was
karlgurney Posted February 23, 2005 Author Posted February 23, 2005 Lsd, driveshafts, hubs and rear brake calipers are still up for grabs, including loads of other bits, all ideal for a new build. If no further interest it will be going on ebay. You have been warned Karl
