Looking at going on a rally day with a mate for his birthday..

anyone have any positive experience and feedback of days that really give you the oportunity to learn how to drive? I'm not that interested in just sitting as a passenger or being told to watch out for the bank..  dont roll it ;)

we're all 24 or 25.

TIA

I did one a few years back at Enstone near Oxford..........it was a good day (well half a day) and I even picked up the award for Best Rally Driver of the Day

For my 18th I had a day at Rally Drive.

Overall it was really good, they do a range of packages. I did the ProDriver Plus.

The Mk2 Golfs were a good laugh and my instructor didn't care how hard I drove it which was good. Would recommend it!

Btw, one of the instructors is a transvestite. :0 :t-up:  :D

was that the london rally school? (or something like that)

Yellow mk2 escorts IIRC running out of a farm yard.

I did that- a great day and I also got the driver of day award. They must give them to just about anyone  :D  :p  :p

You could try this one - never done it but people have talked about it.

Or alternatively if you want to pay for a trackday & make sure its a wet day you are welcome to as many rides for you & your mates as you want in my Escort - but only as a passenger :xmas:

I think it was motorsports events and they used rear drive Toyota Corollas and they used part of Enstone Airfield.

Competition was tough at the one I went to  ???  ??? so I must have been good  :p  :p  :p
