itguy Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Hi All Was browsing ebay last night and found a 'Westfield track jacket' if anyone knows what that is? Here It was going for only a tenner, so I've purchased. Should come in the post over the next day or so. Cheers Will. Quote
Mark B Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Will, You got a bargain there, they are 55 quid from the factory, I nearly bought one the other week but they didn't have my size... Quote
James Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 ive got one and it is exellent!! I wont be without it now, its warm comfortable wind proof water proof and it even looks Quote
Crash Override Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Very good jacket, I've got one of there earlier ones (all black with grey section on sleeves), nice and warm when out blatting and even partially waterproof (kept me dry whilst standing in ques at Alton towers whilst I was there in the Autumn showers.) Absolute bargain at a £10 as Mark says it's £55 from the factory - mind you I got mine for £50 with a free baseball cap, mind you the fact I just bought a load of parts at the time probably had something to with that. Buzz Billsberry Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Lets hope it not one of the erm shall we say specials they did. Westfield had a batch of 50 made about a year ago but they turned up with "I" missing out of "Westfield" Westfield sold them the bundle of for £50 and they then appeared as seconds at Stafford last year in one of the tool stores Buzz Buzz Quote
itguy Posted February 10, 2005 Author Posted February 10, 2005 Cool, sounds like I (hopefully) have a bargain. Just took another look at the photo on the ebay advert and it does look like the logo says WESTFIELD including the I!! Well - we'll just have to wait and see Quote
neilwillis Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Not as good as the ones we sell. Any more talk of other people's merchandise on here will result in someone coming round to visit you in the dead of night - if you get my meaning! Quote
itguy Posted February 10, 2005 Author Posted February 10, 2005 Hey Neil Tell you what then.... I'll take a 3in1 jacket for £15 as they are better (I'm sure you wouldn't have passed up a potential bargain) Quote
david.c Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I can thoroughly recommend the WSCC R25 jacket........I got one for Just one question Neil..........what's the zip at the bottom of the lining at the back David Quote
neilwillis Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 That's so you can get the embroidery done without it passing through every layer of the coat. Something the embroiderers have been known to forget. It's either that, or somewhere to stash the pheasants when you go poaching Quote

Frau Vesty Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Well according to the text in the advert, it comes complete with WESTFILED logo Even if it is a dodgy one without an I, it's got to be good for a tenner - who is going to notice (apart from everyone who knows you who is now going to look when they see you ) Quote
