neilwillis Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 It's a bit early in the year for camping, and I would suggest that Stafford is not the sort of show that would keep you entertained for 2 days. Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Stafford is not the sort of show that would keep you entertained for 2 days. You'll be lucky if it keeps you entertained for 2 hours Quote
Mark Stanton Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 That is most diplomatic of you Mr Willis Quote
davehall Posted February 3, 2005 Author Posted February 3, 2005 Obviously not the best of shows then - maybe I won't camp! Quote
Mat Jackson Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Yep, Went last year and was very dissapointed. However did get free powder coating on the Westfield. SWMBO found it hillarious though, laughing at all the men in Red Dwarf T-Shirts and white socks going around the nut and bolt stands to crys of "Oh a left handed giggle screw with Pozidrive attacthment". Refused to be in any photos though, in case any one saw that she had been to such an event. Fudge stall was amazing though......... Sorry....... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Yep good point Chris.......... WSCC Socialising may take place outside in an allocated area and that way save the entrance fee Quote
taffy Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Anybody know a good meet up point (that serves food and bevarages) near Staffs showground? My very thought Chris. There is a good pub on the Noth Side (down the hill), I may nip over for a reccy and post more details. Obviously not the best of shows then - maybe I won't camp! Hi Dave, yup its a bit early for the camping, but would be good to meet up with yourself and anybody else who makes the journey. We will post meeting point and times nearer the date, look forward to meeting you! Rob Quote
neilwillis Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Just as long as you don't mention the Rugby Taffy, I can see it's going to be a long, hot summer Welsh rugby shirts have been banned from all official Westfield events! Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Rugby? that weren't rugby. It was Welsh sheep rustling. It was a crap game and the Welsh were useless as they've always been and England were crap and brought themselves down to the welsh level. It was the dullest game of sport I've since since the Pharoh Islands beat Scotland in the footy Still at Least the Leeds Rhino's beat the Ozzie Roo sh**gers Cantbury in the World cup challenge at Elland Road on Friday!!!
