I supervise, cost, manage, invoice etc "special projects" for private developers, Councils, sub crontractors and major service providers. Visiting jobs, estimating, tracking, sorting and supervising manpower, liasing with developers, claims, invoicing etc. My most recent project is for the ITV show "Design Wars" and 5 floors damaged in highrise flats in Nottingham (on the news Sept 11th). I have worked at NTL for 7 years, previously i was an electrition for 12yrs, where i progressed to a similar position to my current role. Quote

The same happened to me, with both children The first time was a bit of a shock, the second time was on the day before he was born. Its nice to have as much paternity leave as you want - especially with a subsequent child I'll third the 'don't burn any bridges' comment. After the last redundancy I went self-emp and am now doing some work for my last employer on a consultantcy basis. Quote
