ROC Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 The only reason this is for sale is due to a more powerful engine having been purchased, nothing wrong with the engine. It is a May 1993 2L Zetec (I have proof of age letter from Ford). It is just the engine and parts described below for sale, no Exhaust Manifold or Carbs etc. This is obviously ideal for passing the SVA emissions test with Carbs fitted. The engine has only covered 5200 miles since having the following new parts fitted: Head Gasket and the Cylinder Head refaced, an Escort Water Pump (the correct rotation) and Pulley, front and rear Crankshaft Oil Seals, Timing Belt and Pulleys, Cam Cover, Coil Pack, Thermostat Housing, Crank Position Sensor, Dunnell RMP 1400 Lowline Baffled Sump, Dunnell RMP 1440 Alternator Bracket Kit, Alternator, Plug Leads and Plugs, Standard complete Clutch Kit. I have the print out from the Rolling Road session at Northampton Motorsport; it produces 163.8 BHP at the flywheel on Carbs and 142.9 lb ft of Torque. I will leave the engine in the car for the time being so that anyone interested can hear it running and drive it (am in Northants) If interested please send me a pm to discuss further. Essay over Cheers, Rich.
ROC Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 For the lads who have expressed an interest in the engine, I forgot to mention that the inlet manifold for the dcoe's is also included. Cheers, Rich.
