Van hire

Going to pick up my bodywork this weekend. :p Can anyone recommend a van hire company to use? I've tried Hertz, Thrifty and the like but they are either not open over the weekend or want to charge a minimum of 2 days.

I'm based in south Manchester if that makes a difference. (...apart from the fact that thieving Manc scum wouldn't now have half the contents of my house in their lockup      )

You know the thieves around Hale are so well off they can afford to hire vans.

Which is probably why you cant get one Friday and Saturday night.

When I picked up my bits (some time ago now) I used Salford Van Hire, they used to be based next to Strangeways brewery but may have moved since.  They will do a 24hr hire.

K2 in Knutsford haven't been bad, I had a Luton bodied van with a tale lift from them when I collected my chassis. Also used Cheshire Vehicle Rentals in Macc when I collected my bodywork, again very good and a little cheaper than K2. (But that's probably just Knutsford prices for you  :p  )

Forgot about Cheshire Vehicle Rentals, used them when I moved house from Macc a few years ago - good service!
