worldwidewebs Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Going to pick up my bodywork this weekend. Can anyone recommend a van hire company to use? I've tried Hertz, Thrifty and the like but they are either not open over the weekend or want to charge a minimum of 2 days. I'm based in south Manchester if that makes a difference. (...apart from the fact that thieving Manc scum wouldn't now have half the contents of my house in their lockup ) Andy Quote
Arm Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 You know the thieves around Hale are so well off they can afford to hire vans. Which is probably why you cant get one Friday and Saturday night. Quote
Mark B Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Andy, you have mail reg saturdays trip to wf, I was going to ask about the van, if you have trouble let me know as I can possibly sort something out. Mark. Quote
stu.graham Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Why not buy a van, you can afford it Use your trailer Quote
BuzzinRich Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 When I picked up my bits (some time ago now) I used Salford Van Hire, they used to be based next to Strangeways brewery but may have moved since. They will do a 24hr hire. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 K2 in Knutsford haven't been bad, I had a Luton bodied van with a tale lift from them when I collected my chassis. Also used Cheshire Vehicle Rentals in Macc when I collected my bodywork, again very good and a little cheaper than K2. (But that's probably just Knutsford prices for you ) Quote
BuzzinRich Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Forgot about Cheshire Vehicle Rentals, used them when I moved house from Macc a few years ago - good service! Quote
