RobC Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Anyone know what it is? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....me=WDVW The guy does not know...
Dave Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 It's from an early SEi wide and narrow, as per my 1990 car the housing is Westy produced alloy, an English (escort) diff fits inside. they are like rocking horse Sh*** to get hold of in good condition. I think the seller if fibbing at a starting price of £175 he knows exactly what he has got!!
RobC Posted January 1, 2005 Author Posted January 1, 2005 from what i have gathered he bought this lot as an unfinished project... and has broken up the kit and flogging the best bits on... at laughable prices... many thanks for the heads up...
Arm Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Last time I enquired Westfield still had or could get new ones and the price for new --- around £170.
leighc Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Is it me or does he say that he's selling a full "SEIW" body, and on the photo's it says "SE"
RobC Posted January 1, 2005 Author Posted January 1, 2005 And most of this stuff has already been listed at least once before
Mark Stanton Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 "SEIW" body, and on the photo's it says "SE" *Anorak oldie mode* All scuttles (SE.SEI and SEI wide) used to have SE embossed onto them Pass my kagool please
a4gom Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 That will explain one of the questions buzzing around in my head! Mine (1994) has SE on it, its narrow bodied but all paperwork indicates Sei and its got independant rear end.
Mark Stanton Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 and yes you could get narrow bodied SEi cars not anymore though
