david.c Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Loved seeing the Escort being thrown round the track OK so the focus beat it but which was the more entertaining to watch David Quote
Megablade Paul Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I love James May's journalism and am even prepared to admit Clarky has a certain appeal. But Top Gear is too lairy and too repetitive. Fine for maxxed up Subabishi driving 'petrolheads' but as a car enthusiast I very nearly went and did the washing up last night. So what's the difference between a petrol head and car enthusiast then Hope you enjoy the washing up next time it's on Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 The important part was :- maxxed up Subabishi Hmmmm ..... gold wheels, two large rear spoilers, low profile tyres, body coloured skirts, twin 100watt halogen driving lights, red cloth inlaid seat backs, carbon fibre strut brace, foxhole exhaust, ECU master reset switch ...... Yup boy racer I reckon. Caravans ...... roll on the spring! Quote
