salexander Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Some good info guys, I guess the big concern is what your insurance company would have to say if anything went wrong. I had thought of building an a-frame, just for recovery purposes, ie engine/box going bang at an event. This isn't much good if you rip a wheel and suspension off though! I guess that's why we have AA/RAC membership? The towing weight/braking issue is sortable. You use a braked coupling on the a-frame and connect it up to a yoke on the brake pedal on the car with a long cable, Granada clutch cables have been used (Westy would need a pretty long one though) Quote
